What Are You Doing New Years Eve?

I hope you guys are all having a safe and fun New Years Eve! I just got back from a wedding and thought I'd show you guys what I wore. I scored this BB Dakota dress in the Modcloth Black Friday sale and finally had an occasion to wear it!

(dress: modcloth, tights: kohls, shoes: urban outfitters, sunglasses: amazon)

Happy New Years Eve!

California Winter

I've lived in Southern California my whole life, so I haven't really experienced an actual winter before. It kind of bums me out that I've only seen snow twice, but also I can get away with wearing ensembles like this in the middle of December without freezing, I figure it's an even trade off.
Nearly everything I'm wearing was a Christmas gift, except the cardigan. I've been really into that whole Brandy Melville, California girl aesthetic lately, with the baggy cardigans and essentially shapeless dresses. And I know as a fat girl that probably shouldn't appeal to me since it can make me look bigger and whatnot, but fuck that. 'Figure flattering' means absolutely nothing to me anymore. Wear what makes you happy!

(dress: free people (L), cardigan: F21, sunnies: ray-ban)

until next time!

Christmas Goth

My friend has deemed me the Christmas Goth today since my lipstick screams Merry Christmas while the rest of my outfit looks like I'm going to a funeral. Eh, what can you do?
I scored this awesome dress during the Urban Outfitters 50% off sale. Also, if you're looking for some super opaque tights, I found these at Target last week!

(hat- urban outfitters, boots- nine west)

Surprise kitty!
Until next time!

Hey all! {UPDATE}

Okay, so I know, I am a terrible, no good, really bad blogger.
I haven't updated in months and I feel really bad about it! I think I got a little caught up with making my YouTube videos. Which I love making, don't get me wrong, but I definitely feel limited in the type of content I can post on there. I usually just stick to fashion videos since thats all anyone seems to care about and I'm not the best at speaking in front of a camera when I don't have a script.

So, I've decided to start working on my blog again since I am more a eloquent writer than I am a speaker, to be perfectly honest (hah, ok maybe not eloquent but you know). I still want to post about fashion and what have you, but I'd really like to blog more about my life and my other interests as well, namely cupcakes and lipstick.

Thus, I've given my blog a facelift! It's not anything spectacular, but I did what I could with my very limited HTML and photoshop skills.

Anyways, I'm really excited to get this blog going again and I can't wait to start posting things! I've added a sidebar with tags that I'll be using and I'm hoping to make this a once a week thing at least.

If you read all of this, I love you. Yes, you. You're my favorite person ever and if I could I would hug you.

Until next time!

In a galaxy far far away ...

(oh yeah, I went there, I referenced Star Wars. ... I'm sorry.)
Hey all!
So let's just pretend that I didn't abandoned my blog for almost six months in favor of youtubey things and get on with how amazing this dress is, 'kay? 'Kay! ^_^

I first saw this dress on the lovely Erin of ZeroStyle  and dreamed about owning it for awhile (it was kind of really out of my price range) until finally it went on sale and I flailed around for a bit before desperately searching for my wallet. I ordered it (and one other dress so I could get my 30% off!) and then waited impatiently for about a week and a half before it arrived. I'm actually kind of surprised with myself since it's not really my usual style, but it's so freakin' comfy and soft and super cool to look at.

I've had it for a couple weeks, but I wore it out to dinner  for the first time last night and managed to get my friend to take a couple pictures for me.

Thanks for reading guys! I'm not gonna say I'll be back soon because I honestly have no idea, but I am planning to write a blog post about shopping at Urban Outfitters because it's a question I get a lot. So hopefully I can throw together some kind of guide on how to shop there when you're a fat babe. B]

See you later! ;)

Wolf's Den

Thought I'd drop in with a few pictures of my outfit today.
I got this amazing wolf sweater from Zara and I decided to pair it with an ASOS skater skirt and nude wedges from Aldo.
